Mr. S.P. Bhanti, Director, Disaster Preventers, Aligarh conducted a mock exercise and evacuation drill on December 10th, 2019 at DPS Hathras to educate and train the students for an unforeseen emergency like fire or any natural calamity. The students were asked to leave their classes and evacuate the school. Guided by the teachers the students collected in the emergency Assembly area – the allotted safe zone. Following all the safety measures, the entire building was successfully cleared within a span of 1 minutes and 39 seconds respectively.
An Inter DPS National Level Dance Festival Nrityanjali 2019 was organized in DPS Greater Noida on 23th November 2019. Out of 125 DPS Schools, 26 schools were selected for the finals. The students of DPS Hathras presented marvelous and enchanting performance in Bharatanatyam Dance Form. The performance was entirely based on empowered women of mythology.
DPS Hathras was not only the holder of 2 Runner-up Trophy but also was awarded for the Best Props. The School Management congratulated the participants, Dance & Art Department for this achievement. The Principal of the School blessed and congratulated the whole team for the position achieved.
On 22.08.2019, a Health Camp was organized for General Health Check-up of students from Class Nursery to Class XI. The renowned Doctors of Hathras City, i.e. Dr. S.K. Raju (Physician), Dr. Pankaj Sharma (Paediatrician), Dr. Sanchit Khandelwal (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Mohit Garg (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Deepak Sharma (General Physician) & Dr. I.K. Khurana (Eye Surgeon) and Dr. Priyanka Das (Gynaecologist) were part of the Camp.
DPS Hathras students participated in “Samridhi Taekwondo Cup 2019 Kyourgi/Poomsae” organised by Indian Sports Welfare Society & Maheshwari Creative Club, Aligarh on Sunday, 11 August, 2019 at Samridhi Township Agra Road, Aligarh. Students won medals and brought glory and fame to the school.
The summer camp was organized for the students of DPS Hathras. The camp started from 13 May, 2019 to 24 May,2019. Closing ceremony was full of fun and frolic. The ceremony commenced with the welcome speech followed by prayer. The students showcased various performances based on the activities chosen by them during the Summer Camp.
A summer Camp was conducted for Class I to Class VIII from 14 May, 2018 to 25 May, 2018. 220 students participated in this camp. The following activities were conducted-
- Yoga and Aerobics,
- Water activities, outdoor games, skating and Horse Riding.
- Dance, Vocal and Instrumental Music
- Art and Craft activities,
- Personality Development Skills.
