Adventure Camp was organised in School on 21 & 22 March, 2018 for the students of Grade I to X. Night Adventure Camp was for the students of Grade IV to X. Grade I to III students arrived at the camp site in school on 22 March 2018. The campers enjoyed the Adventurous Activities like Rope Climbing, Burma Bridge, Rappelling, Balloon Game, Flying Fox etc. All the day and night campers enthusiastically participated in full spirit.
Graduation Ceremony was celebrated for the students of Grade Preparatory. Nursery, Grade I& Grade II students presented a dance, Street Play and short skits. The Parents of Grade Nursery to Grade II were also present and everybody praised the performance of students. All students of Class Preparatory were awarded with Graduation Certificates by the Principal Ma’am followed by the motivational speech.
Delhi Public School Hathras on 13.01.18, Saturday, celebrated Patangotsav on the eve of Makar sakranti.
The school organized various activities for the parents, guardians & children from games to kite flying, filling the arena with laughter, enjoyment revealing the beauty and togetherness of the festival.
The winners of the different games were rewarded by the principal of DPS Hathras with prizes for their virtuous effort. The programme was curtained after the lunch party in which a variety of Khichdi- a traditional food of the festival was being served in a sumptuous manner to all the invitees.
Presence of DPS Pro-vice Chairman Mr. Swapnil Jain carved smile on all faces marking the success of the event.
Recalling the days of their youth the parents at DPS enthusiastically participated in the friendly cricket match organized for them on 17.02.18. It was overwhelming for the students to see their parents exhibit themselves as an example which was the main motive of the whole match. It was even a heartfelt gratitude for the principal of DPS to find the parents performing on the field.
Commemorating the brave men, the struggle of those laid the foundation of Indian constitution DPS celebrated the 69 th Republic day on 26.1.2018. The event commenced with the march past engulfed in the colors of rivers representing all the four houses of the school followed by national anthem. Enthusiastic speeches delivered in English and also in national language Hindi filled the arena with patriotism. Dumbbells exercises were also eye catching performances symbolizing DPS and its motto, service before self. The students also presented the human pyramid that marked the hard work and zeal of the young citizens of India. Parents, Guardians and guests present on the occasion were mesmerized by the performance and the ambience created on the occasion of the Republic Day. The program ceased with the heartfelt gratitude revealed through the vote of thanks.
Vasant Panchmi, the auspicious festival of the Hindus which marks the end of the winter season and the onset of spring in North India, was celebrated by the students of Delhi Public school Hathras on 19 th January 2018. The melodious and rhythmic note of Saraswati Vandana commenced the morning assembly, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. This was followed by inspirational thought and English speech. Teachers were dressed up in yellow on this auspicious occasion which marked the importance of the day in the educational institutions.
Being invited to join the celebration of the propitious festival, various play schools became the part of it with their students from classes Nursery-II who were accompanied by their parents. Various activities were organized which finished up with prize distribution by Ms. Neena Chaku, Principal DPS Hathras.
December 22, 2017 flooded DPS with fun and laughter in the celebration of Christmas blended with India-Romania collaboration.
The morning assembly commenced with the enlightening prayer that was followed by an informational speech on Jesus Christ. Skit was performed by senior and junior students based on love, care and humanity. The students have also shown their creativity through poem and essay writing on the eve of Christmas and countries collaboration which was a success and full of the essence of zeal.
Like the whole India that was remembering Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the students of DPS Hathras also paid tribute to the great mentor by organizing speech activity and informed a lot many interesting facts about him. The day was celebrated by the students with joy and happiness through the various activities being organized in the school and which reflected the love and respect of the students towards their teachers.
On the eve of Eid-Ul-Zuha, remembering and honoring the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim to sacrifice his son to show his obedience towards God, the students of DPS Hathras organized a special assembly on 1st September, 2017. The students have staged a short skit depicting the true nature of festival that goodness and humanity. The appreciable work done by the students left its marks and set an example of goodness and togetherness.
The students from DPS Hathras took the initiative to highlight the menace of everyday increasing world population. Through the power of the words the students reflected their thoughts towards population and came up with the ideas to sort it out and make the world a better place to live in.
On 22 nd August, 2017 DPS Hathras got its new board of student council by allotting the students with various responsible posts. The students took the oath to abide by their duties and responsibilities in the best way possible. The Program was honored with the presence of Shri. Krishnan Arora, a renowned industrialist of Hathras and alumni of Schindia School, Gwalior. Dance and music performance given by the students of classes VIII and IX were the icing on the cake.
A 3-day book fair at DPS inaugurated by the District Magistrate Amit Kumar Singh. The fair had a collection of fiction, Scientific and technological writings, Activity based works and many more. On the end day of the book fair poster making competition was organized for the students and the parents. These days saw the encroachment of the book lovers in the land of DPS Hathras.
The students of standard V on 16.08.17 worked on soil profile through model learning to understand the layers of the soil. Activity based learning has always proved effective and so as the activity has been for them. Depth learning inculcated and knowledge added up through model learning.
On 10.08.17 and 11.08.17 herbal plantation was conducted by the students of standard V and VI. The activity based on herbal plantation enhanced the knowledge of the students. Through the activity the students were taught to understand about the types of pants and herbs.
Activities of such kind helped the students to understand the difference between herbs and plants which added to their knowledge.
On the great day of freedom the teachers of DPS Hathras hoisted the national flag and proudly sung the national anthem. The day was celebrated with great zeal and the program commenced with group song making the heart lighted up with the fire of patriotism. The dance performance added a feather to the beauty of the program. Together with all these speeches and poem were also delivered by the teachers and made everyone remember the sacrifices of the heroes of our nation.
The two festivals one being national and another being religious were celebrated on the land of DPS Hathras remembering the freedom fighters and Lord Krishna. On 11.08.17 DPS Hathras celebrated the 71st Independence day revealing the overwhelmed with feeling of freedom and happiness. All the four houses i.e Ganga, Ravi, Chenab and Jhelum out shown their hidden talent on this very day of celebration and filled the arena with patriotism. The students of DPS showed their enthusiasm by giving wonderful speech on Janmashtmi too
Making the scorching heat the time for fun and enjoyment, summer camp was organized at DPS Hathras, the opening of which was done on 15.05.2017. During the camp various activities – horse riding, volleyball, cricket, personality development and art and craft was organized that kept the children away from the dull, monotonous technological routine and brought them in touch with nature and activities in open environment. It was full of fun and enjoyment and the students got to learn a lot during ten days camp.
The day of closing ceremony i.e 26.05.17 commenced with the friendly cricket match wherein the teachers and the students both participated and gave a good start to the day. After the match group song, speeches, solo song performance, micro lecture on personality development, dance performance and art display by the champs of DPS Hathras. At last the principal Ms. Neena Chaku blessed and awarded the certificates to all students.
Celebrating the day for the mother Earth has been a matter of great concern for the students and so DPS Hathras, on Friday 21st April 2017 celebrated the Earth Day. On the very day, Ganga house conducted the special assembly with vigour and enthusiasm.. The students have delivered speech, recited poem and made everyone aware with the facts about Earth Day. The principal Ms. Neena Chaku also addressed the students and guided them to work for the protection and safety of earth.

On 25th April 2017 the students at DPS Hathras were appreciated and were given certificates by the principal-Ms. Neena Chaku, for excelling in the art competition held on 21st April 2017 on the occasion of Earth Day, wherein the art competition was heldin the class for all the students and they came up with grave ideas and thoughts.
